Im so super bored today...nothing much to do in office, so i started googling stupid stuff. And guess what, i started to google my name, be it Swannie, Swan Ng or whatsoever...I actually found sites that has me in it :) How exciting is that...haha!
The first one is the viwawa site which i haven't gone signed in in YEARS...and yes, i found in on google. Funny rite?

Been really busy with the move-in for the NUS Open House :)

Almost a week of birthday celebrations with my dearest family, boifren, girlfriends and colleagues. Thanks for making me feel so loved :)
1st Feb, Sunday night: Dinner @ Hot Stones with the family and ben
Food was affordable and taste was quite good. *yums*
4th Feb, Wednesday night: Surprise birthday cake frm mum and sis. (Though Daddy is not with us, but i'm glad to have you all with me.)
5th Feb, Thursday: Lunch with my boss, colleagues and fellow birthday girl, Bee Shan @ Waraku (Square 2). Then, a surprise celebration at the office with cake cutting and photo-taking.

As for dinner, Ben brought me to Cafe Del Mar @ Sentosa. Nice place, good ambience, but sadly we weren't exactly dressed for the place. Both of us were in formal wear and i was in heels, couldn't really enjoy their facilities. Food was good but a little overpriced and their variety is quite pathetic. Had another cake cutting session after dinner. *thanks dear*

Happie CNY to one and all!!
Since there was no need for my fam and i to go visiting this year, we decided to go Sentosa to experience the flower fest. When we arrived at Vivocity, the queue for Sentosa Express was SO terribly long, you cannot imagine how many thousands of people were there that day. 80% foreigners and 20% singaporeans. Ah tiongs and Ah nehs filled the whole area with their wonderful aura...GREAT! How fun is it. So we're convinced that we do not want to become sardines together with them, so we just walked around Vivo and Harbourfront. Till about 5pm, we went over to the bus terminal and since the queue was short, we decided to just pop by at Sentosa.
The displays were quite fascinating at the Imbiah, but not at Palawan beach, not exactly the best of place to see flowers and fill your shoes with sand. People who go there for the flowers are not dressed for beach ya know...Anyway, we din exactly planned to take photos, but they were so beautiful, i had to use my 'diamond' to take. I really love the scent of fresh flowers :)

The next day, i took half day leave to accompany my dear boi who is on forced unpaid leave, how sad :( and guess what...we went Sentosa AGAIN. This time, we went to Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon. Underwater world is still as boring, but the octopus, jellyfish and dugong amazed me. As for Dolphin Lagoon, it was raining cats and dogs even before the show started. We look kinda pathetic trying to find shelter under some palm tree, which of coz was of little help. The difference between our dolphins and those we see in Seaworld and Ocean Park is that ours had pink bellies which i thought was really cute :)

Its been 2 weeks since you've left us...
Life seems to be back to normal as both Mummy and I went back to work, we
still do go out, still do talk and laugh. But every time we're back home,
reality sets in. It just feels different, we no longer hear your jokes, your
laughter, your nags. I can see the pain through Mummy's eyes every time we
mention about you. Though I'm able to still go out with friends and all, I can't
help but cry in shower or before I sleep. Because I know thats the only time
when I'm alone and able to release what I've been surpressing inside of me. I
know I have to be strong, my friends are telling me to be strong and I guess I've
been coping well. But I'm human after all...Time heals all pain, but this pain is
going to take a long time to heal.

I have so much to say, but i seriously dunno where to start.

Life can sometimes get you really down, when things just occur so sudden without any form of
warning or signs. Maybe there was a sign, we just dint see it.
Have you ever experienced a shock that leaves you dumbfounded, simply just stood there not
knowing what to do and watch the paramedics trying to save someone you love.
Its really painful I tell ya, heart-wrenching kind of pain..
And you know, like what you may have seen in dramas where friends and relatives wait
outside the A&E dept of the hospital for the doctor's verdict, so overwhelmed by anguish.
I held my sister's hands so tightly in mine, both praying hard for my dad's safety.
The worst moment arrived when the doctor came out of the A&E and shook his head. We
couldnt even hear what he was saying. It felt as if the world has collapsed on us, we were on
our own, everything else seemed so distant.
Then we had to pick up the broken pieces of our heart and move on, because there were so
much to do, so much to settle.
I have to be strong, I have to take care of my mum and sis. I have to move on, life still goes on.
But I miss you, i really miss you alot Daddy :(

NEWS! So I told the almighty bf of mine that Im gonna get myself a Gucci wallet at the end of
the year...and so he said that he wanted to get it for me for my birthday present (Thats where it
all started). So I told him, its betta for him to get me a Gucci bag and I will get myself the wallet,
sounds like a better deal rite? Haha! (I know Im smart :) )

Celebrated Halloween this year by first being in ZOUK's freaking ass long queue for 2 whole
hours and we've only managed to move 6 inches for that 2 damned hours. CALL US
CRAZY OLD PEOPLE MAN! So we finally gave up and left the wretched place not
knowing where to go, luckily we din overdress, if not we're gonna be such jokers (so dressed up
but cant get into zouk). We finally settled at Helipad after roaming the streets of clarke quay for
about 20 mins. Helipad was quite a nice chill-out place, but the crowd for Halloween was just
boring. (there wasnt even much crowd in the first place) So we had to entertain ourselves by
drinking ourselves silly and cam-whored among ourselves. Haha!

SINGAPORE JEWEL FEST 2008
Im back! And im glad im still alive...Just ended my LONGEST WEEK EVER!
19th - 24th Oct - Moving in for Jewel Fest '08 at Ngee Ann City from 8.30am - 3am almost everyday..it is really crazy and MIND-BLOWING i tell ya...
Though im down with fever, flu, cough and sorethroat, im glad im still alive and kicking.
There were a few times i thought to myself, why am i putting myself though all these when i could have just gotten a 9-5 job and be happie to earn enough to spend. Shapeless/ almost invisible pressure (not that they are pressurizing me literally) from the boy and parents from both sides are making me lose all motivation to continue doing events.
Should i continue or should i move on?
I need some enlightenment!

I think its been more than 6 mths since i last updated this blog..haha! Jus feeling real lazy during my LONG LONG break after finishing my final exams.
Anyway, just a lil update about me:
1) Started work at
Pico Art Intl about 2 weeks ago, its an event management company which does MEGA events such as the F1, and all your nitty gritty events at Suntec and Sing Expo.
2) I'll be involved in the F1 project, taking care of the Singtel corporate suites, so if you happen to have tickets at Turn 1 & 2 grandstands, you can come and say hi to me coz i happen to be
WORKING :(
3) Ben and I are still going strong, despite my soon-to-be late nights with Pico events and the lil squablings that we have.
(Thou i dun understand why do we alwiz have to be upset during our anniversaries, last year was like tt according to my blog, dis year is like tt too..BLEAH!)4) Still having constant meeting ups with my darling sn girls as well as cindy and mandy, and trying to find a new bf for
Ms Lin..hahah, so if u guys have anybody to recommend, pls drop me a mail or something..haha!
5) Im totally enjoy Friday nites now..coz its
T.G.I.F!! ice cold beer and
having good company makes Swan a real happy bitch on friday (rite pris and mel?) Haha!

The canon event turned out to be ok, in fact, it was kinda fun :) haha! so much for my outburst of emotions in my previous entry...
The hot babe i was working with for the 2 days turned out to be one of the models from 'Deal or no Deal' - Vanessa (No. 6) She's really one funny chick. Anyway, all we had to do inside our 'little home' was to cam-whore, and print our pictures out using Canon Selphy (which is what our cubical is called).
Both of us ended bitching bout pple, gossiping, laughing at our funny photos. Cant believe that we are actually paid for doing what we love to do best - CAM WHORING!! will post the many many photos that ive printed out after creating a collage out of them :) happie happie...
The bf was sweet enough to come and accompany me to study for the long 4 hours break in between and helped to take photos of me and vanessa in the cubical.

Seriously..i've never been so upset and pissed over an event which havent even started yet...If you think that im not tall, not pretty enough, then dun choose me in the first place. Why select me and then make me feel ostracized and left out.
- Ask me to pose inside the cubical to have a photo taken, but then chose somebody later
- Ask me to go try a dress which is meant for some other girl, who shot me a pathetic look
- Ask everybody else to go in the cubical and try out the space and left me out
Then why ask me to go for the stupid rehearsal when i din even get a chance to rehearse! F***king waste of my time. The rehearsal was supposed to end by 11.30pm but it freaking hell drag until so damn late [sorry to keep my boy from waiting =( ] I was really damn upset, that i couldnt even slp at nite, kept thinking bout what happened earlier.
Was talking to the clique this morning, and they made me realised that im just one
'EMO' bitch. I should learn to be more nonchalant and less sensitive to other's actions and words. Maybe i'll be less hurt/ pissed. I just wanna get over and done with it...Cant be bothered by them anymore

Had a drink at 'Outdoors' at Peranakan Place on Friday nite. Apparently, they were having a 'ghost nite' celebrating the upcoming halloween...all the waitresses, door bitches, bouncers, chefs, asst managers, managers dressed up as Asian ghosts. All their ghastly makeup, wierdo costumes really amazes me. Din have a chance to take photos with them thou...wad a pity =(
Come to think of it, i've only been to one Halloween party a few years back...how sad...and i've alwiz wanted to go for Zouk's halloween party..i bet its really fun dressing up and partying with tonnes of ppl, but its alwiz during exams period, so even if i wanna go...nobody's willing to go with me =( so ben and i have decided and promised ourselves that we'll make sure that we'll go for next year's one..BY HOOK or BY CROOK!! i dun care...haha!
